Student membership shall be open to those individuals who are currently enrolled in an accredited School or College of Pharmacy.
Services for Student Members
The ACA has available several services which greatly benefit the pharmacy student in successfully completing academic studies and in realizing the dream of becoming a community pharmacy owner.
Through monthly and quarterly periodicals, the ACA strives to assist the student in acquiring and polishing the skills needed to establish and conduct a professional, profitable and highly rewarding community pharmacy practice.
ACA Newsletter – Published monthly, distributed to all Fellows electronically. It provides information regarding activities of the College, News of the Fellows, What’s Happening in Pharmacy, and more. Free to all Fellows.
The Voice of the Pharmacist – Published quarterly, distributed to all Fellows electronically. It provides informative articles regarding current issues affecting pharmacy practice. Free to all Fellows.
Hospice Care & Pain Management News – Published quarterly, distributed to all Fellows electronically. It provides informative articles regarding current issues in hospice care and pain management. Free to all Fellows.
Women’s Health News – Published quarterly, distributed to all Fellows electronically. It provides informative articles regarding current women’s health issues. Free to all Fellows.
Networking with sucessful independent pharmacy owners is one of the most important aspects of Membership in the College. To encourage students to participate in ACA’s conferences each year, students are provided a complimentary registration fee for all educational programming.
