THE AMERICAN COLLEGE OF APOTHECARIES ESTABLISHES
NEW MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES
The American College of Apothecaries welcomes anyone into membership who is interested in supporting and working to advance the mission of the College. In order to accommodate this, a variety of membership levels have been established to meet the individual qualifications of those seeking membership. These include:
· Full Fellow – An applicant for Full Fellowship must be a licensed pharmacist:
o Working in a community pharmacy, meeting ACA Practice Standards
o Practicing in an accredited hospital
o Serving on the faculty of an accredited School or College of Pharmacy
o Holding an executive position with a pharmaceutical association, state board of pharmacy, or company that supports
the healthcare market
o Recommended by three or more current Fellows in good standing with the College
· Affiliate Member – Affiliate membership is open to those individuals who are not pharmacists who support the mission of the College.
· Student Member – Student membership shall be open to those individuals who are currently enrolled in an accredited School
or College of Pharmacy.
· Corporate Member – Corporate membership is open to any business entity that supports the mission of the College, and wishes
to work with the College to help achieve that mission.
