High Risk Sterile Compounding

High Risk Sterile Compounding is a 16 hour course. This course represents a great need in health care and will provide the participants with the knowledge of preparation and quality control tests for sterile products, such as validation testing, membrane filtration, pyrogen tests, BET (bacterial endotoxin test) and others.   This course will also examine wet heat sterilization in the Autoclave, as well as dry heat sterilization/depyrogenation, and filter integrity.  Also covered will be the USP <797> guidelines.  This course will train pharmacists in the technique and preparation of sterile drug products.
